TRAINING CURRICULUM
- Registered Prenatal Yoga Teachers:
- Skillfully bring the nourishing and supportive practice of yoga to this specialized population.
- Support and inform pregnant students throughout their entire journey including infertility, conception, all stages of pregnancy, labour & delivery, postnatal care, pelvic floor health care, infant loss & grief and Baby and Me yoga
- Deliver safe and informed yoga classes with confidence after studying the anatomy of the changing pregnant body in depth
- Support their students pregnancy by being well educated about complications of pregnancy and childbirth as well as common ailments for which yoga can provide relief
- Share sacred yoga philosophy, wisdom, asana, pranayama and meditation to encourage the pregnant students best birth story
- Assist new mothers to stay engaged in the practice by offering postnatal yoga that supports pelvic floor and core health as well as baby nurturing
- Help new mothers recover from childbirth by understanding the common ailments and complications of childbirth
- Support their community with confidence and expand existing yoga offerings.
- Know that postnatal anatomy and associated pelvic floor dysfunction applies to anyone that has ever had a baby and are qualified to work with women that experiencepelvic floor health conditions with 10+ years post partpartum.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
This 8 week course requires:
